50 years of pure dedication

The history of the restaurant dates to 1968, when the Valencian couple Jose and Mª Julia travelled to Johannesburg South Africa in search of their fortune & dreams.

Jose was a professional singer & worked in several of the best restaurants in Johannesburg, while his wife Maria Julia worked in various other restaurants offering different cuisines. This helped them acquire the necessary experience and knowledge for their future as restaurant owners of their own.

 Julia’s experience in differing styles & kinds of cooking from all over the world combined with her knowledge of  traditional Valencian cooking taught to her by her mother has enabled us to have the large variety of plates on our menu.
